What is a home warranty?
A home warranty is a service contract that covers the repair or replacement of many of the most frequently occurring breakdowns of home systems and appliances.

You can add a home warranty for both your listing period and continue it on for the buyer, for a year.  A home warranty is a renewable service contract that covers the repair or replacement of many major systems and appliances in your home.   Statistics show there is a 68% chance that a major system or appliance will break down in a given year* and the average replacement cost of a home system/appliance is $1388.* When a covered item fails, just call you would call the warranty company An agent of the company will contact an insured contractor to handle your request.   The contractor will schedule a time to assess the problem and make a repair or replacement.  Upon arrival, you’ll pay the contractor a trade service call fee.  Customer service representatives are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to accept service requests by phone or online.
