As an organization, we strongly believe that one of the most important questions we need to ask ourselves is, “How do we define ‘help’?” How we answer this question should dictate the types of services we provide for those in material poverty. How “helpful” are those services that do not advance the difficult situations families and individuals face, but instead leave them stuck in the same plight, or worse, trap them there. 

As we move towards the close of our 10^th year in ministry we feel immensely blessed for the opportunities we’ve experienced to work with those in need, and what God has done. At the same time, we cannot begin to express how excited we are about the future of Salt & Light.
